Stop. Take a second, sit back and breathe …

My first visit to Chicago was a little over a year ago for my 21st birthday, and i have undoubtedly missed it every since. I fell in love with the urban eclectic vibe it gave me. The subway rides with real Rhythm & Blues entertainment inside the stations. The off the seats swinging and dancing. The brisk walks to and from… and may i add I HATE THE COLD. But forgot all abut its chills. Chicago was the first place a woman had ever hit on me … a white woman too might i add. hahaha Chicago is the reason why i want my bike with the basket!!

And by far the best memory i have took place when i was headed for the airport and had just enough time to spare to get some coffee. The coffee shop felt like home. Thank God for those big worn in comfy chairs, writings on the wall (yes i added my name) and cozy feeling that embraced everything that a coffee shop was meant to feel like.

I am convinced that Chicago knows the secret.

Yes I am Looking

Quote Posted on Updated on

I don’t know if i am looking…. or searching for it in other people. Yes other people. For genuine, for things that don’t play by the suppose to be happy and look good rules. . The unwanted gift of watching life pass by and picking apart every aspect because i am looking, searching, pleading, begging for real. Real life words, from real life people, who are real life confused, real life lost, real life hurt, and real life scared to say so. –I’ll never stop looking BeFunky_VintageColors_1.jpg
